GO AWAY ALREADY!

This week has been a busy, on-the-go-week for the Wagners as we prepared for Christmas. I want to share some of the wonderful pictures I took of a few of these special times.

WEDNESDAY-NATHAN CAROLING WITH THE YOUTH FROM CHURCH

The kids met at the church and then they drove around town and sang to many members of our ward. After caroling they went back to the church for hot chocolate and cookies. Nathan had a great time and I was lucky to get this picture of him singing.

THURSDAY- CUB SCOUTS VISITING A RETIREMENT CENTER

I was very excited about the opportunity for the boys to serve during the Christmas season. A nice group of primary children sang Christmas songs at one of the local retirement homes. The residents loved seeing the children and were very impressed with the Cub Scouts in their uniforms.

THURSDAY- PACK MEETING

After our visit we went straight to pack meeting where we had a great time making ornaments, singing, playing games, and watching several of the boys advance in Scouts.

FRIDAY- MARCUS' PRESCHOOL PARTY

Saving the best for last! Marcus was asked to play Joseph in his preschool Christmas play. I was so excited, he did such a good job, and was so cute! Well, all the kids were cute, but Marcus was the cutest.

OK, this blog is one big lie. We have been stuck at home for the last 3 days. Winter break started early for the boys, Merry Christmas to me! They are driving me crazy already! I'm really bummed about the plans that were canceled this week. This is my reality.

Those of you who don't live in the Puget Sound area are probably mocking me right now. But we freak when it snows around here. I am too chicken, you know what, to drive in it and I feel I am doing my community a service by staying off the roads.

I do need to get out today or tomorrow, I am almost out of diet coke and other groceries. We are also expecting more on Saturday night. Wish me luck driving!

I was born in Tacoma, and my whole family still lives in the area (Puyallup, Graham, etc). I know how crazy it gets when it snows there! But you HAVE to get to the store if you are almost out of Diet Coke!

Our roads really aren't bad. The main roads are totally clear. I've heard another storm is coming on Sunday. I'm not sure if I should take the time to prepare my Relief Society lesson!

My cheater husband served his mission in Tacoma.

It was so nice and sunny this morning, and now it's starting to snow again. :(

There's no way you can stay home with the boys without DC. If you can't get out, let me know and I'll ship you some.

We don't have a crazy amount of snow yet, but the forecast for next week is snow every day. We'll see what happens ...

Good luck!

I was confused with the pix and your post?? Then you explained why! That is funny that your "snow-bound." I don't like driving in it either--I had to go to Walmart (75 miles away) and coming back there was so much blowing snow I didn't know where I was for about 20 min. until I finally saw a familiar farm! Stay Home!--unless of course you need DC!

You are so funny! We did all those things too, but I didn't have the foresight to take pictures of it all.

I saw the news reports about the snow up there and couldn't believe it. I have visited the Renton area before and don't remember snow in the winter. I mean Snoqualmie Pass usually gets a good amount of snow, but the Sound?

Snowed in doesn't sound too bad. I am sure cabin fever would kick in, but really not being able to go and do all that I did this last week - that would have been a nice break!
