MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I did it! I'm so proud of myself. I drove in the snow four times! Friday I went to the store so I could buy diet coke and food. Friday night I drove to my brother's house for a party.

Saturday I went out for our yearly Santa picture. I would have been really bummed if we hadn't gotten one. Nathan tried to get all teenagery on me and tell me he was too old and cool for a photo with Santa. Well I nipped that in the bud. I told him he would get his picture with Santa until he goes on his mission. I'm such a good mom.

This Santa was the real deal. He knew my boys needed to clean their rooms. Travis and Marcus went right home and cleaned their room. I don't know how long it will stay clean, but I'm a believer. It started snowing again Saturday night, but I went out for an hour to a cookie exchange party. Hey I know my priorities when it snows: Diet coke, photos with Santa, cookies, parties and food.

We are snowed in again. Things would be fine if Bert was home, but he was stuck in Vegas for two days. He is on his way home right now. I worry about him driving on the slick roads.

It is scary when your husband is far from home and the weather is bad! I am glad you have your priorities straight, though. Cute picture!

Priorities--priorities... I'm glad you are woman enough to recognize that Diet Coke is a necessity of life. The mailman thinks he has it bad with his "sleet or snow or ice" but he has nothing on a woman without her Diet Coke!

I love your priorities! I'm glad that they are pretty much like mine.

Sorry your husband is gone in bad weather, that can be so stressful. I hope he gets home safely!

Cute photo of the boys!

Great job! It is scary. I just make sure that I drive really slow. I don't care how many people I piss off.

What a trooper. Gotta get those photos and of course you are a woman after my own heart with the DC.

I'm sure you'll be happy to have the whole family home and safe and sound!

I'm going seriously stir crazy and will brave the roads later today--to go to the library. My kids are whining, I HAVE NOTHING TO READ! I've heard worse whines.
