New Year's Resolutions

I thought deep and hard about my New Year resolutions for 2009. Most of them are the same ones I make every year, but I did add a few new ones. If I share them with you, I will keep them, right?

I am going to continue to be a lifelong non-smoker. (see, this is easy!)

I am going to give up eating dark chocolate cold turkey. (super easy!)

I'm not going to buy anymore fabric unless it's on my list, really nice, or I need it.

I'm going to make sure I have lipstick on every time I leave the house.

Better Family Home Evenings.

Build up our food storage.

Scan all my negatives onto the computer.

Detail my home.

Stop drinking diet coke. (maybe?)

Oh yeah, lose weight, exercise, be nicer to kids, blah, blah, blah.........

I bet your resolutions aren't as ambitious as mine.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I wonder if you have as much fabric as my mom has? I should have taken a picture while I was at her house over the weekend. She quit buying fabric cold turkey last summer. It wasn't easy, but she has enough to fill a bedroom, so I think she'll survive. (I hope you survive too!)

I'd have a hard time with the dark chocolate!

Honestly, I really don't know why anyone would even want to give up diet coke. Be nicer to the kids, wear lip stick if you must, but be realistic. Diet Coke is the breakfast of champions!
